TERMS OF BUSINESS
These are the terms of business, acceptable use policy, disclaimers and confidentialty agreement under which degreexpress.eu services it's customers. Provision of service is conditional upon the customer's acceptance of these terms.

Definitions: 'DegreeXpress' The website www.degreexpress.eu, it's owners, operators, parent company and their officers, agents, representatives and associated companies. 'Customer' The person viewing the website and/or placing an order with DegreeXpress. 'Institution' Any legally founded tertiary level educational institution or University Trust whose degrees are potentially offered by DegreeXpress to Customers.
  1. The Customer affirms the following as true:
      The Customer is aged 20 years or over
      The Customer is the person named on the degree
      The Customer is an actual, living person
      The Customer is not impersonating another person living or dead
      The Customer is obtaining documents from degreexpress.eu for their exclusive personal use only
      In the case of backdated graduation requests, the Customer was aged 20 years or over on the graduation date and had the relevant life experience, work experience or formal study to qualify for the award at that time.
  2. The Customer is functionally fluent in the English language.
  3. The Customer declares that they are the person named on the degree and that they have at least the minimum relevant life experience, work experience or formal study in the subject chosen at the degree level chosen. For an Associate degree this is at least two years. For a Bachelor degree this is at least four years. For a Master degree this is at least six years. For a Doctorate degree this is at least eight years. The submission of any false declaration to this end will be deemed an act of bad faith.
  4. The Customer accepts and understands the Terms of Business as set out here, and agrees to be irrevocably legally bound by all the clauses of the terms, including the clauses pertaining to the confidentiality agreement.
  5. The Customer understands that any qualification sourced through DegreeXpress will in all probability be issued by an Institution outside the Customer's own Country and that specific Institutions or geographic locations of Institution cannot be specfied as a condition of an order.
  6. The Customer confirms that they understand and accept absolutely that “public interest” or any similar concept does not constitute a defence for any breach of contract or act of bad faith.
  7. The Customer understands the following are illegal acts, and undertakes absolutely not: to request a degree from any Institution not represented by DegreeXpress; to request a degree dated in the future; to copy or duplicate copyright documents obtained from DegreeXpress; to use or attempt to use any information or documents obtained from DegreeXpress for any criminal or deceptive purpose.
  8. The Customer has satisfied themselves by confirmation with relevant legal advice or statutory bodes in their country that possession or use of a foreign, unaccredited or privately accredited degree is legal in their jurisdiction.
  9. The Customer is not and does not act on behalf of a journalist or media correspondent acting in a professional capacity, and is not obtaining an award or awards through DegreeXpress for the purposes of, or in relation to, the formulation or publication of a news item, story, report, article or investigation of any kind, in any medium.
  10. The Customer is not and does not act on behalf a law enforcement officer or investigator acting in a professonal capacity, and is not obtaining an award or awards for the purposes of, or in relation to, any type of criminal or civil action or investigation.
  11. DegreeXpress takes all reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality of its Customers. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold DegreeXpress harmless from any claim or demand made by the Customer or any third party due to or arising out any breach of the confidentiality agreement by the Client or by any third party.
  12. The services provided to the Customer by DegreeXpress may occasionally contain errors. DegreeXpress will correct typographical errors due to its own negligence or that of represented Institutions. The Customer affirms that all information submitted by him/her is free from typographical and other errors. The Customer indemnifies and holds DegreeXpress harmless from any claim or demand made by the Customer or any third party due to or arising out of errors in information provided by the Customer to degreexpress.eu. DegreeXpress' partner Universities reserve the right to amend the degree major or faculty designation requested to better reflect the award made, and such amendment does not constitute an error.
  13. DegreeXpress cannot be held responsible for any errors, losses or consequential costs arising from the use, misuse, (or inability to use) of this website, or any documents supplied, or performance or non-performance of any services offered or provided.
  14. DegreeXpress reserves their right to refuse or terminate any services, annul or void any documents provided to the Customer should the Customer violate these terms of business. Once terminated under this clause, the Customer agrees to return any award and all ancillary documentation to the issuing Institution, and to immediately cease to use or refer to same.
  15. DegreeXpress customarily supply documents pertaining to the Customer's order to the Customer within 14-21 days of receiving their order and payment. However, due to the international, multi-cultural nature of the Institutions represented, delivery may be delayed up to maximum 28 days, which is outwith the control of DegreeXpress and does not constitute a breach of contract. Where further information has been requested from the customer and has not been immediately supplied, significant delays in delivery of documents can be expected, and this is not a breach of contract on the part of degreexpress.eu.
  16. In the event that a Customer places an order with DegreeXpress and later disputes the valid charge with their credit or debit card company, this is deemed a criminal act of fraud, and incurs a recovery charge of $500 (five hundred US dollars) in addition to the amount disputed with the card issuer. This is considered an act of bad faith by the Customer. Customer details, including name, address, email address, telephone number, IP address, delivery signature and order details will be supplied to the credit card company, our third party processor and the police. The Customer's debt including punitive penalty will be forwarded to a debt recovery company local to the Customer for immediate legal action. The Customer's details will be also added to a negative database preventing further purchases through major online card processors.
  17. Once an order has been submitted, the Customer may cancel it in writing within 3 days without penalty. Beyond this period DegreeXpress reserves the right to apply a surcharge equivalent to fifty percent of the purchase cost if graduation has already been agreed and documents are in process but have not been despatched to the Customer. Where services have been completely rendered and documents have been supplied, are awaiting shipment or are in transit, no refund is possible.
  18. The Customer agrees not to name any person, corporate body or Institution in any way associated with DegreeXpress, nor publish the name, address, telephone or fax number or email address of such associated person or company in any form or by any medium.
  19. The Customer agrees never by act or omission, directly or indirectly, intentionally or otherwise, to reveal information in any media, whether for public or private consumption, that could show or potentially imply a connection of any sort between DegreeXpress and any Institution it works with. Failure to comply with this clause shall be deemed a breach of contract.
  20. DegreeXpress agrees to maintain Customer information as confidential and not to sell, rent or otherwise disclose any such information except where required by law or in respect of action by DegreeXpress taken in the event of the Customer's breach of contract or act of bad faith.
  21. In the event of the Customer causing or failing to prevent a breach of contract in regard to the confidentiality agreement herein, they shall admit liability and pay restitution on demand to DegreeXpress a sum not less than $250,000 (Two hundred and fifty thousand US dollars).
  22. In the event of an act of bad faith by the Customer as defined by these terms of business, they shall admit liability and pay restitution on demand to DegreeXpress a sum not less than $250,000 (Two hundred and fifty thousand US dollars).
  23. The contract formed by orders placed under these terms of business shall be interpreted and enforceable according to the Laws of England and Wales.
  24. DegreeXpress reserves the right to change or modify these terms of business at any time, the terms standing at the time or an order being placed being the terms appliant to that order. The current terms of business are available at www.degreexpress.eu/terms.html.
